What happens to my waste?
What is considered waste today forms the foundation for new, sustainable applications at Ecoo. Household plastic waste is carefully sorted, further filtered, and reprocessed into high-quality plastic granules.

Is the regranulated material fully recyclable?
Yes, the granules can be recycled after use. This makes Ecoo granules the most sustainable material in our range.
Is regranulate of consistent quality?
Yes, but the chosen filter density plays a major role in this. Choose from three filters (2 mm, 1.2 mm or 0.8 mm), whereby a finer filter also guarantees better quality and purer raw material.
How does Ecoo granulate (regranulate) differ from virgin plastics?
This raw material is made from butter tubs, yoghurt pots and other household plastic waste that has been recycled. No “new” plastics are added to the production process, unlike with virgin plastics. Its properties are also slightly different, which we will be happy to explain in an initial introductory meeting.
Do ecoo raw materials comply with REACH legislation?
Yes, our products comply with REACH legislation. Our recycled raw materials fall under the exemption rule in accordance with Article 2.7.D of REACH legislation. This means that these raw materials do not need to be registered as such, as long as they meet specific conditions that demonstrate that the recycled substances are equivalent to the original registered substances.
