How to install Garden Edging?

Installing Ecolat is quick and easy—you certainly don't need to be a professional landscaper. Follow these five simple steps and you'll have your own Ecolat garden edging installed in no time.

Step 1 - Prepare the Trench. Use a spade to cut a narrow trench around the area you want to edge. We recommend making the trench approximately 10 cm (4 inches) deep.
Step 2 - Measure and Cut: Measure the length of the trench and cut the same length of Ecolat from the roll.
Step 3 - Position the Ecolat: Place the Ecolat strip into the trench and gently tap it into position using a rubber mallet or soft-faced hammer.
Step 4 - Install the Ecopic stakes: Drive the Ecopic stakes into the ground to secure the edging. The spacing depends on the shape of your border. As a general guideline, place one stake every 40 cm. If your edging includes many curves or tight bends, reduce the spacing by approximately 15 cm to provide additional support. Pay particular attention to areas where the Ecolat requires extra stability.
Step 5 - Secure the Edging: Check that the Ecolat is level. Then attach it to the Ecopic stakes using screws and a drill. That's it—your garden edging is ready!
